1919

Le début de notre histoire

Julian Cowan fonde son entreprise familiale Cole & Mason à Londres. Initialement spécialisée dans les articles cadeaux, Cole & Mason s'est rapidement et avec succès étendue au secteur général de la quincaillerie et des articles ménagers.

1946

Lancement de notre première usine

L’ambition de Julian devint réalité lorsque Cole & Mason lança son premier moulin, le moulin Capstan, tourné à la main à Park Green. Connu sous la marque Peter Piper, ce moulin rencontra un succès immédiat, et son design est resté quasiment inchangé aujourd’hui.

1975

Le premier moulin acrylique au monde

Cole & Mason lance le premier moulin en acrylique au monde, l'emblématique 505. Inspiré des poignées de porte en acrylique aperçues lors d'un dîner, le 505 reste un classique intemporel et populaire et fait toujours partie de notre gamme principale aujourd'hui.

1981

Notre première moulinette 2 en 1

Toujours tourné vers l'avenir, Cole & Mason dépose un brevet pour l'innovant moulin Duo. Ce design ingénieux combine un moulin à sel et à poivre dans un seul récipient, offrant une solution élégante et peu encombrante.

1986

Prix de la Reine pour les exportations

Connaissant un succès national et international, Cole & Mason reçoit le Queen’s Award for Export Achievement, étant devenue la marque numéro un du Royaume-Uni pour les moulins à sel et à poivre au début des années 1980.

2001

Notre première moulinette électronique

Pour rester dans l’ère du temps, Cole & Mason lance son premier moulin électronique baptisé « the Manhattan », un ajout qui s’avère être un véritable succès dans notre assortiment de moulins en constante expansion.

2010

Une gamme de moulins nouvelle et moderne

2010 a vu le lancement de notre emblématique et très apprécié moulin Derwent, doté d'un design moderne et d'un corps transparent. Ce moulin inspirera le moulin Stadhampton pour piments et épices, lancé 12 ans plus tard en 2022.

2019

Un siècle de saveurs

Cole & Mason fête ses 100 ans avec le coffret cadeau exclusif Knightsbridge Centenary Silver. L’année 2019 marque également le lancement de Precision+, un nouveau mécanisme en acier au carbone qui offre plus de poivre et de saveur à chaque tour.

La Collection de Londres

Lancée en septembre 2023, la collection London célèbre un siècle d’expertise de Cole & Mason en matière d’assaisonnement. Inspirée par l’Art déco et l’architecture industrielle de Londres, elle honore notre héritage tout en offrant un design à la fois classique et contemporain pour l’avenir.
